This is the OLG blog for the One Book - One Parish Lenten reading program. As you read each week's suggested chapters in "My Life with the Saints" you will find reflection/discussion questions here. An integral part of a reading program is the discussion that grows from it. We look forward to your participation. "All of us are smarter than one of us." You can make this come true for our Lenten One Book - One Parish reading program.

I prefer intellectual reasoning for any topic. But the firsthand experiences during RCIA have taught me about matters of faith which I could not have learned by reason alone. For example, it is one thing to read and believe that the Church loves me. To experience it during a rite, is learning it on a whole new level.
ReplyDeleteI like to use both the intellectual reasoning and firsthand experiences in any learning situation. I respond to the intellectual, but when it is coupled with firsthand experience, I internalize the knowledge and make it my own.
