This is the OLG blog for the One Book - One Parish Lenten reading program. As you read each week's suggested chapters in "My Life with the Saints" you will find reflection/discussion questions here. An integral part of a reading program is the discussion that grows from it. We look forward to your participation. "All of us are smarter than one of us." You can make this come true for our Lenten One Book - One Parish reading program.

I aGREE
ReplyDeleteI went through a time when I lost all faith completely. But after that experience, I feel it is now more authentic and durable than before, actually real this time. Now when my faith is challenged and I think about letting it go, I retrace my steps through life and find my faith a little stronger and deeper. In a way, my time of darkness has become something that now gives me strength and determination.
ReplyDeleteMy faith was shaken by several situations that happened in my former parish, all happening simultaneously, many years ago. I was so deeply involved in the life of the parish at that time, that when there were some very human controversies that happened in the parish school and church, I walked away from all of it. I spent many years trying to 'do my own thing, find my own strength', but eventually, God called me back to my faith and I have been struggling ever since to come back to the Church.
