This is the OLG blog for the One Book - One Parish Lenten reading program. As you read each week's suggested chapters in "My Life with the Saints" you will find reflection/discussion questions here. An integral part of a reading program is the discussion that grows from it. We look forward to your participation. "All of us are smarter than one of us." You can make this come true for our Lenten One Book - One Parish reading program.

I'm not convinced that I've found my vocation (or even that I have one specific vocation). As I get older, I'm beginning to think that my life's calling may really be a bunch of mini-callings all clumped together. For example, I don't know that I would consider my career my "vocation", but I believe that the way I relate to my coworkers is directly tied to the reason God has placed me where I am today. Because I'm still in the vocation-formation phase, the people who have had the greatest impact on the process are those who know me best: my husband and my mother. They know my intentions, my dreams, and my potential, and they love me enough to have hard conversations when I'm living or acting in a way that fulfills all three. They push me to be more and more of who Christ calls me to be, and their grace inspires me to live more fully and humbly.
